1872: Founded by Aug. Hoeter with the brand Teutonia, production of watches, watch parts, watch packages.
1945: Reorganization as Bremon Hoeter SA with the brands Bonanza, Eclecto.
1956: Latest known registrations in La Chaux de Fonds and Geneva.
Remarks
The brand Teutonia was very probably intended for the German market, or markets appreciating German watches.
The first Teutonia movement in this archive confirms this suspicion: It has a Glashütte plate design, and the case had both, German and Swiss Silver hallmarks.
This is not uncommon: Many Siss watch companies produced watches of this kind. They were often signed as System Glashütte or Système Glashütte.
